What we collect
If you submit the eligibility checker or contact form, we collect what you enter: name, email address, postcode, and the answers you give about your property, heating, tenure and benefits status. Benefit information is provided voluntarily and only used to assess scheme eligibility. We do not ask for, and prefer not to receive, your phone number. Forms are processed by Formspree Inc., which acts as our processor; their handling is governed by their own privacy terms.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and capacity purposes. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use your data
We use eligibility submissions to (a) reply to you by email with relevant funding guidance, and (b) where you ask for a survey or quote, introduce you to one vetted installer or retrofit assessor, to whom we pass your name, email, postcode and relevant property answers. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, and consent where you ask for an introduction. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with more than one installer per enquiry.
Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months so we can handle follow-up questions, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Email info@freesolarpanelsengland.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site is built as static pages and sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Any cookies present are strictly functional ones set by our hosting platform.

We update this policy when our practices change and adjust the date above. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
